Teams from the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) area are prepared to compete against one another in the first regional circuit of the Valorant Champions Tour 2024 (VCT), which has grabbed center stage worldwide. 

All eleven of the region's partnered teams will compete for three coveted spots in Valorant Masters Shanghai 2024 which commenced from Wednesday, 3rd April 2024 and will conclude on Sunday, 12th May 12, 2024.

The local Valorant teams haven't played one another since the Kickoff tournaments that were held for each region separately earlier this year. 

The stakes will be quite high as all partnered teams from the EMEA region compete against one another for the second time in VCT 2024 EMEA Stage 1.

While Karmine Corp is the current EMEA champion and finished fifth or sixth at Valorant Masters Madrid 2024, other teams are eager to establish themselves and will be ready to take on the challenge.

Group Stage: Teams in VCT 2024 EMEA Stage 1 Group

This tournament serves as both the regional qualifying for the VCT Masters Shanghai 2024 and will include 11 paired teams from across Europe. 

Two groups, Alpha and Omega, have been formed from these teams; the former has five members, while the latter has six.

Alpha Group consists of  Team Liquid, Fnatic, Team Vitality, Karmine Corp and BBL Esports.

Omega Group comprises of FUT Esports, NAVI, Team Heretics, Gentle Mates, KOI and GIANTX.

Group Stage 1 of VCT 2024 EMEA: Timetable
 
The dates of this tournament are Wednesday,  3rd April 2024, through Sunday, 12th May 2024. There are two phases: the Group Stage is the first, and the Playoffs are the second.

First Group Stage of VCT 2024 Pacific: April 3rd to May 3rd. 

Stage 1 of the VCT 2024 Pacific will take place from May 8th to 12th.

Group Stage 1 of the VCT 2024 EMEA: Format

The eleven partnered teams will be split into two groups: five teams in Alpha and six teams in Omega. 

A single round-robin, cross-groups format will be used for both groups.

This suggests that teams from the other group will be the only ones competing against Alpha and Omega members. 

There will be a best-of-three series in every match. 

The winners of both groups will automatically move on to the Upper Bracket Semifinals. 

The final two teams from each group, ranked second and third, will advance to the Knockout Round.

The primary stream of the event will be available on Twitch and YouTube in English, while the secondary stream will be available in six other languages. 

In addition to the official streaming, a variety of game developers and broadcasters will host co-streams in numerous languages.

With each competitor standing up to give their very best performance over the course of seven weeks of high-level valiant action, VCT 2024 EMEA Stage 1 promises to be an intense event. 

The teams who step up to take on the difficult job of unseating the current champion, Karmine Corp, will be exciting to watch.
