The main event of the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) 2024 is now over, and the top four teams were Reject, Alpha7 Esports, IHC Esports, and Vampire Esports. The Reject squad won the championship after dominating the competition on Days 2 and 3. They were the most reliable team in the competition. It was also the first Japanese squad to triumph in a significant PUBG Mobile competition. 

Reiji "Reiji" Maeda of the Reject squad was named the competition's Most Valuable Player (MVP) after 34 eliminations. 

16 teams competed for a massive $356,000 USD in prize money over the course of three days in the PMGO 2024 main event.

PUBG Mobile Global Open 2024: A summary of the important events

Reject scored 157 points, 93 kill points, and two chicken dinners to take first position in the standings. In second place, Alpha7 Esports earned three chicken meals and 139 points. Third-placed Vampire Esports earned three chicken meals and 127 points for their aggressive gameplay. One of the most dominant teams in the competition, IHC Esports finished fourth with 127 points, 91 of which came via eliminations.

S2G Esports received two chicken meals and 126 points for finishing in fifth place. With one chicken supper, IW NRX scored 125 points and finished sixth. Boom Esports earned two chicken meals and 123 points for finishing seventh. With just one chicken supper and 115 points—78 of which came from eliminations—Falcon Esports CSA finished seventh. After a year apart, Nova Esports made a comeback to its first big PUBG competition, however they were unable to maintain a consistent performance and finished in twelfth place with 76 points.
