Earlier this year, Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov was in the news after he quit Tundra Esports and voiced his disapproval of the company in public. He was given an indefinite suspension from the company as a result of this occurrence, and it was said that an internal disciplinary inquiry was still ongoing.

Amid all of this confusion, two days after the incident, the 29-year-old offlaner stopped playing Dota entirely and stopped being active on his primary account.

When he played his final ranking match on February 28, 2024, it was evident that the Tundra event was having a negative effect on him because he had gone on a lengthy losing skid.

On March 29, nevertheless, MinD_ContRoL was seen playing Dota once more, and he began his ranked journey with a Techies selection.

MinD_ContRoL Reenters Dota 2 Following a Month-Long Absence

After taking a month off from the game, MinD_ContRoL, who is presently sitting on Tundra Esports' inactive roster, has been seen playing Dota 2 once more.

It was alarming that the 29-year-old midlaner had stopped playing entirely following his final rated game on February 28.

It's probable that MinD_ContRoL made the decision to step away from the game and take a month off in order to heal psychologically following the Tundra event.

MinD_ContRoL had taken to X during this interval to publicly apologize to Tundra for his previous outburst and the serious charges he had made about the organization. He said that his overreaction was the reason for the entire situation, which was a major misunderstanding.

As of right now, it appears that MinD_ContRoL has resumed playing Dota 2, as he resumed playing on a regular basis on March 29. The 29-year-old offlaner's situation is not favorable, though, as he has only won 40% of his last 15 games.

MinD_ContRoL is presently playing a combination of offlane and position four supports in his rated games, based on his match history.

His choices for off-lane heroes appear to lean toward front-liners; thus far, he has chosen Dragon Knight, Sand King, and Beast Master. On the other hand, he chooses heroes like Leshrac, Techies, Shadow Shaman, and Tusk for position four support heroes, leaning more on burst
potential and control.

The next time the Dota 2 community will get to witness the offlaner in action is unclear as MinD_ContRoL is presently listed as inactive on Tundra Esports' roster.
