Aurora, a renowned Dota 2 team, has introduced Lee "SunBhie" Jeong-jae as the coach of their Dota 2 squad. The South Korean coaching prodigy returns to the same ensemble of players he steered to success in 2023 under Talon Esports, marking a pivotal moment in Aurora's pursuit of glory in the 2024 competitive season.

Breaking the silence on this significant acquisition, Aurora expressed their enthusiasm on Twitter, declaring, "We are pleased to welcome our new coach - @SunBhieDota! We're in for an unforgettable journey." With SunBhie at the helm, the team aims to make waves at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 and the upcoming DreamLeague Season 2024 slated for the end of the month.

The roster boasts stellar names, including Nuengnara “23” Teeramahanon, Armel “Armel” Paul Tabios, Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong, Worawit “Q” Mekchai, and Chan “Oli” Chon Kien. Together with SunBhie, this formidable lineup aspires to forge a path to greatness in the fiercely competitive Dota 2 arena.

SunBhie's hiatus from competitive play, announced in November 2023, was a brief interlude dedicated to personal pursuits. Having recharged his strategic acumen over two months, he reunites with the same group of players, ready to impart his wealth of experience and tactical brilliance.

Renowned as one of the most successful coaches in the SEA region, SunBhie's impressive track record includes guiding Team Secret and Fnatic to unparalleled heights between 2017 and 2019. His leadership played a pivotal role in Team Secret's dominance, securing victories in DreamLeague Season 8, the Chongqing Major, and the MDL Disneyland® Paris Major. The Fnatic chapter from 2019 to 2022 witnessed an extraordinary run during the Dota 2 online season in 2020.

As Aurora navigates the challenges of the 2024 competitive season, SunBhie steps in to bring stability to the team. Drawing inspiration from last year's success with Talon, he aims to propel Aurora to new heights. The inaugural test awaits at the BetBoom Dacha event, where Aurora, positioned in Group A, braces for a showdown against Virtus.pro on February 4th, 2024.
