Gleb "kiyotaka" Zyryanov, who departed from 9Pandas less than two weeks ago, has returned surprisingly. Kiyotaka left the 9Pandas on 5th January to join the newly formed L1ga team, which included his old teammate Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev. After finding it difficult to succeed with his new team at the BetBoom Dacha 2024 and DreamLeague Season 22 qualifiers, Kiyotaka rejoins 9Pandas to complete the team's roster. DreamLeague Season 22 was played by 9Pandas, with Aleksey "Ainkrad" Diveevskiy starting in Kiyotaka's place.

Once again, the 9Pandas roster is complete

"It brings us great pleasure to welcome Kiyotaka back to 9Pandas. Even though our separation wasn't long, we missed our beloved booster,” upon the return of its mid-laner from a brief absence, 9Pandas tweeted. 9Pandas is prepared for the forthcoming ESL One Birmingham qualifiers with Kiyotaka back in the fold. The roster now consists of:

  • "Darklord" Mikhail Blinov
  • "Kiyotaka" Zyryanov, Gleb
  • "Alberkaaa" Chernoivanov, Albert
  • "Antares" Vladislav Kertman
  • "Solo" Berezin, Alexey

9Pandas also took this opportunity to thank Ainkrad for his ad hoc assistance to the team. "We would also like to express our appreciation to Ainkrad for his respectable performance in the first games following the reorganization," said the statement. “I hope to see you soon at one of the big events this year!"

Kiyotaka participated with the L1ga team in the DreamLeague Season 22 qualifiers as well as the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai qualifiers. After losing in a 0-2 series to Nemiga Gaming, the L1ga team was eliminated in a 1-2 series by 9Pandas in the lower bracket, demonstrating their lack of luck in the DreamLeague Season 22.

Still, the team did a great job in the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai qualifiers. L1ga Team advanced to the final series of the qualifiers against Virtus.pro after defeating Klim Sani4 in the lower bracket finals. But as the team easily won the championship series and advanced to the main tournament, it was evident that they were no match for the formidable Virtus.pro.

9Pandas seems motivated to participate in a lot of tournaments this year, as they mentioned in their tweet. This roster is likely to participate in the ESL One Birmingham qualifiers, which get underway on 22nd January.
