BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2024 is an offline Copenhagen based Counter-Strike 2 tournament. The tournament will be held in Blast Studio from 22nd January and will conclude on 28th January. The tournament is organised by Blast and sponsored by CS.MONEY, EPOS and Maersk. The tournament boasts a prize pool of $190,000 USD and 16 teams are participating in it. Let's have a look into the details of this tournament.
BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2024 Format
In the Group stage, there will be four double elimination format groups (GSL) and each group will have four teams. All matches will be held in the best of three series. The winning team from each group will advance to the Spring Final. The team securing the second place will proceed to the Play-In Stage.
In the Play-In Stage, matches will be held in a single elimination bracket. All matches will be played in best of three series and the two winning teams will advance to the Spring Final.
The 16 participating teams are as follows:
In Group A Upper Bracket Semi Final, Vitality clashes with OG whereas Astralis will face Falcons.
In Group B Upper Bracket Semi Final, Faze takes on GL and Spirit squares off against Liquid.
In Group C Upper Bracket Semi Final G2 will play against NIP whereas NAVI will play against COL.
In Group D Upper Bracket Semi Final VP locks horns with BIG and C9 goes head to head with Heroic.
The respective winners will advance to the Upper Bracket Final.
Prize Pool
The event boasts a total prize pool of $190,000 USD, with the distribution as follows:
The teams securing first to fourth position will get $22,500 each. They will also qualify to the Spring Final and will get an invite from BLAST Premier.The teams securing fifth and sixth position will receive $12,500 each .They will also qualify to the Spring Final and will get an invite from BLAST Premier.
The teams securing seventh and eighth position will get $10,500 each. They will also qualify to the Spring Showdown and will get an invite from BLAST Premier. The teams securing ninth to twelfth position will receive $8,500 each. They will also qualify to the Spring Showdown and will get an invite from BLAST Premier.
The teams securing thirteenth to sixteenth position will receive $5,000 each. They will also qualify to the Spring Showdown and will get an invite from BLAST Premier.
