Evil Geniuses is gearing up for the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) 2024, and the hype around their roster reveals a mix of familiarity and fresh faces. In a strategic move, jawgemo, the last man standing from the VALORANT Champions 2023 squad, has committed to spearheading EG's campaign in the upcoming season.
Evil Geniuses’ New VALORANT Roster for VCT 2024
According to a report by Sheep Esports, an infusion of North American talent is joining jawgemo on this daring venture. The lineup includes the relatively untested Nicholas “NaturE” Garrison, Vincent “Apoth” Le, Phat “supamen” Le, and Derrek “Derrek” Ha. Notably, Derrek brings a slice of experience, having previously competed in VCT Americas during his tenure with 100 Thieves last year.
NaturE and supamen, both making their VCT Americas debut, emerge from the crucible of the NA Challengers circuit, showcasing their skills with notable organizations like Gen.G, TSM, Rise, and FaZe Clan. Apoth, making a significant return to Evil Geniuses, transitions from a reserve role to a confirmed starter, marking a key evolution in his journey with the team.
Gomis hints at a caveat, highlighting that this roster speculation holds if Evil Geniuses decides to stay in the league. Despite whispers about EG potentially leaving VCT, consistent reports from Gomis and others suggest the organization is committed to VALORANT for at least the entirety of the 2024 season.
