Disguised, the esports organization founded by the prominent content creator Disguised Toast, is gearing up for a return to VALORANT Challengers. However, there lies a twist in this return – Disguised won’t be competing in North America. According to a tweet by Valorant reporter Tanmay, Disguised will compete in the Southeast Asian region of VALORANT Challengers in 2024 with a roster from the same region.
The organization is on the verge of officially acquiring a team set to make its mark in Challengers Malaysia and Singapore. The anticipated roster is expected to be predominantly Singaporean talents, with a trio of former Bleed Esports players—juicy, Retla, and JayH—taking the spotlight.
Speculations are rife that Disguised might be collaborating as a partner affiliate or academy team with Bleed. The connection draws attention from the fact that Bleed is currently competing in VCT Pacific after a triumphant Ascension last year. VALORANT insider Bo “BoDork” Hoogland hints at this association, pointing out the past collaboration between Bleed superstar Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker and DSG, while both Bleed and DSG head coaches boast experience in the German Counter-Strike scene.
The anticipation for Disguised’s return was met with uncertainty, especially after their ambitious mid-season acquisition of yay failed to materialize into success in the NA Challengers last year. Subsequently, the entire roster was released in early June, with the organization expressing the need to "re-evaluate" its future in the title. Despite setbacks, Disguised has been resilient. After parting ways with its NA Challengers roster, the organization underwent a visual rebrand, enlisted a team operations manager, diversified into TFT and Apex Legends, and is eyeing a comeback as NA Challengers champions in League of Legends.
