Animesh “Thug” Agarwal, the co-owner of S8UL Esports, recently confirmed the departure of Harsh “Goblin” Paudwal, the star player from S8UL Esports’ Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) team – Team SouL. S8UL Esports is arguably the best esports organisation in India, boasting a myriad of top-notch content creators. S8UL Esports bid farewell to Team SouL’s former team on 26th December 2023. Despite previous assurances from S8UL co-owners Thug and Lokesh “Goldy” Jain that Goblin would be staying with the organisation, the situation has taken a surprising turn."
Interestingly, S8UL Esports’ official Instagram handle wished Goblin on his birthday, 8th January 2024, through a story. However, the story was soon taken down without any speculation. This incepted uncertainty among the fans as no one cleared the air.
In a recent livestream,Thug disclosed that S8UL has no relation with Harsh “Goblin” Paudwal anymore, and also explained why S8UL Esports deleted the birthday story from Instagram. Thug stated that since S8UL has no relation with Goblin, wishing him birthday through official S8UL social media handles seemed inappropriate. He added that those who intended to wish him, did through direct messages or some other ways.
After parting ways with the previous roster, Team SouL signed the former Blind Esports squad, which won the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023. On Goblin’s front, he joined Carnival Gaming, along with his entire previous roster.
