Disbanding the recently adopted lineup from ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, Tundra Esports has executed a game-changing move by reinstating Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen as its midlaner. A prominent name in the Dota 2 esports community, Topson boasts the accolade of a two-time TI (The International) champion, lending unparalleled experience to Tundra Esports.

Having played under the Tundra banner since September 2023, Topson took a hiatus following the disbandment of the roster post TI12, only to make a triumphant return on 7th January. The timing aligns with Tundra Esports' unveiling of its new position four support player, Edgar "9Class" Naltakian. Despite being a relative newcomer to the professional scene, 9Class has swiftly ascended the ranks, currently securing the 6th position on the European leaderboard.

Rumors preceding the official announcement had already alluded to the inclusion of Topson and 9Class in Tundra's roster, adding an air of anticipation to the revelation. The organization, via a Twitter proclamation, disclosed the integration of this dynamic duo. Topson, emerging from a hiatus post TI23, is primed to spearhead the midlane for Tundra Esports in the impending competitive season.

Complementing this formidable duo is Matthew "Whitemon" Filemon, positioned as the five support player. The duo of 9Class and Whitemon will provide robust support to Topson and two yet-to-be-revealed players, amplifying the mystery and excitement surrounding Tundra's revamped lineup.

In an interesting twist, Tundra Esports affirmed its participation in the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai closed qualifier on 11th January, underscoring its commitment to securing a prominent position in the competitive circuit. Earlier speculations hinted at a potential roster including Topson, 9Class, Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko, Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov, and Egor "Xakoda" Lipartiya. However, with Whitemon's confirmation, the likelihood of Xakoda's inclusion appears to wane.

As we await the debut of the revitalized Tundra Esports, enthusiasts are advised to approach speculations and rumors with cautious optimism, knowing that the true essence of this lineup will unfold in the competitive arena.
