In a surprising turn of events, Tommy "Taiga" Le, renowned for his comeback to professional Dota 2 following a hiatus, has bid farewell to Bleed Esports after a short stint of just one month. Despite the brevity, Taiga's has left a long-lasting mark.

Taiga’s Journey in Bleed Esports

Bleed Esports officially announced the departure of its position five support, Taiga, through a tweet on 29th December. This departure marked the end of a chapter that began in November 2023 when Taiga, alongside Natthaphon "Masaros" Ouanphakdee and Daryl "iceiceice" Koh, donned the colors of Bleed Esports. Notably, this venture marked Taiga's inaugural foray into the Southeast Asian region after an illustrious career in the European domain with esteemed teams like Alliance, Team Liquid, and OG.

Despite the anticipation surrounding this collaboration, the team faced setbacks during their participation in the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 closed qualifiers. An unfortunate exit at the hands of the newly formed team Aurora spelled disappointment for Bleed Esports. Undeterred, they entered the arena of the Tier 4 tournament, Kobolds Rave, only to secure a modest fourth-place finish.

Taiga, acknowledging the brevity of the endeavor, took to Twitter, expressing gratitude to @HadesCasts for his support and comfort during the journey. He declared himself a free agent for 2024, paving the way for potential collaborations. His tweet resonated with optimism, stating, "Short but it was fun trying out a new region nonetheless."

This development follows Taiga's public revelation in October 2023 about his battle with gambling addiction. The confession shed light on his gradual descent into addiction after losing passion for esports and Dota 2 post-The International 2022 (TI11). Taiga's openness about the destructive nature of addiction prompted supportive messages from fans and peers alike.
