Bleed Esports has signed the seasoned Swedish In-Game Leader (IGL) hampus to its Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) roster for the 2024 season. This move follows Bleed's serious commitment to CS2 esports, signaled by the appointment of coach Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović back in November. Tasked with crafting a competitive roster for Bleed’s CS2 project, kassad took just over a month to unveil his first signing – hampus.

Bleed Esports’ Enters Into CS2 With Coach kassad and Veteran Player Hampus
Hampus boasts a commendable CS:GO career, finding stability at Ninjas in Pyjamas from 2020 to 2023, where he served as the in-game leader. This experience positions him as a natural fit for the role at Bleed. However, hampus faces a challenge in transitioning to CS2. While his CS:GO proficiency is unquestionable, the differences between the two games necessitate a period of adjustment.
Bleed's meticulous approach to its CS2 venture is evident. Starting with the recruitment of respected coach kassad, the organization took a month to unveil its first player, strategically choosing hampus. This aligns with kassad's vision of securing an in-game leader and primary AWPer for the team, marking a solid foundation for Bleed's CS2 roster.
As a Singaporean organization with roots in VALORANT, Dota 2, and Rainbow Six Siege, Bleed steps into the global CS2 arena for the first time. Breaking away from its traditional Asian scene involvement, the organization's careful team construction raises expectations for success in this new venture.
