A little more than a month ago, T1 took home its fourth Worlds trophy. As usual, following the League of Legends World Championship 2023, fans were eager to discuss who T1 might select for each of their individual Worlds 2023 skins.

While not every T1 member has selected their champion just yet, those who have are confident in their selections, as are their supporters. T1 players Ryu "Keria" Min-seok and Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok recently talked about their choices, bringing their fan bases to life, thanks to all the arguments and conversations. Faker has reportedly shocked his fans by choosing to pick a different champion rather than Ahri, who was the clear favourite.

Is Faker Missing Ahri's Worlds 2023 Skin Pick?

According to Riot Games regulations, a Worlds winner who did not take part in the tournament is not eligible to choose a champion. T1 fans were thrilled when star player Faker locked in Ahri at Worlds 2023 as a result. They thought Faker chose the nine-tailed fox with the intention of using her to represent his skin as the 2023 Worlds champion.

However, Faker revealed during a recent stream that he would be choosing Orianna over Ahri as his Worlds 2023 skin. Reportedly, Faker said, "I decided not to make an Ahri skin," as per a translation a Twitter user supplied. “Yes, what they say is true. I decided against making an Ahri skin. I brought this up to you during our last meeting.”

According to what Faker said during the stream, Ahri supposedly already has a large collection of League of Legends skins. Ahri currently has more than fourteen skins, compared to Orianna's current total of just eleven. Remarkably, even though Faker played both Ahri and Orianna at Worlds 2023, she locked in Orianna more than the nine-tailed fox.

Which Additional Top-Ranking Players Are Choosing For Their Worlds 2023 Costumes?

Support player Keria asked his followers to vote on their preferred skin tone in a poll that he posted on 22nd December, on his Instagram story. Bard, Renata Glasc, and "The poll closes in three hours" were the three options (translated from Korean).

After that, Keria formally chose Renata Glasc, based on his Instagram stories. However, a few hours later, he took down that story and updated another with the comment, "Hmm lol."

T1 participants could currently choose from the following options for their individual Worlds 2023 skins:

Choi Woo-je, "Zeus": Jayce or Yone

Lee Sin as Mun "Oner" Hyeon-jun

False: Orianna

Min-hyeong Lee "Gumayusi": Jinx

Renata Glasc, or Bard as he deleted his story.

Following their victory at Worlds 2022, DRX's commemorative skins were only confirmed this year, in May 2023. Thus, Riot Games and T1 fans will soon learn about the champions who will don T1's colours.
