Nigma Galaxy bids a heartfelt farewell to the seasoned Dota 2player, Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov. After an illustrious four-year journey with the team, MinD_ContRoL officially parted ways on the 20th of December. The announcement was made through a poignant video shared on social media, encapsulating the memorable moments he shared with the team throughout the years.
Expressing gratitude, Nigma Galaxy thanked MinD_ContRoL for his significant contributions and the indelible memories created together. This departure marks the end of an era, especially for the dynamic duo of MinD_ContRoL and Kuro "KuroKy" Salehi Takhasomi, who have been inseparable since their collaboration began in 2015.

Their journey commenced with 5Jungz, traversing through Team Liquid, where they, alongside Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi, Maroun "GH" Merhej, and Lasse "MATUMBAMAN" Urpalainen, secured victory at The International 2017. Following MATUMBAMAN's retirement, the squad morphed into Nigma Galaxy with the addition of Aliwi "w33" Omar.
MinD_ContRoL's tenure with Nigma Galaxy, starting in 2019, was marked by numerous triumphs, including victories at WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020, DPC WEU 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division II 2022, and more.
However, the team has faced recent challenges in the competitive scene, failing to secure spots in prestigious tournaments like the Riyadh Masters 2023 and The International 2023. Nigma Galaxy's recent inactivity, culminating in a disappointing run at BetBoom Dacha 2023, reflects the struggle to reclaim former glory.
Despite these setbacks, MinD_ContRoL remains undeterred. Notably, he stepped in as a stand-in for Team SMG at The International 2023, showcasing resilience and adaptability. Post-Nigma Galaxy, he formed part of a new squad, "komanda X (x-men)," participating in the WEU ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 open qualifier.
Further adding to his diverse journey, MinD_ContRoL was a key player in the Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show, featuring in the lineup of the "dudley boys." This stack comprised free-agent talents and included another familiar face from Nigma Galaxy, Yuma "Yuma" Langlet.
As MinD_ContRoL embarks on a new chapter, his departure from Nigma Galaxy symbolizes not just an end but a promising beginning, highlighting the resilience and adaptability that defines a true esports professional.
