FURIA’ ALGS Year 4 Roster After HisWattson’s Comeback
The saga began when FURIA made waves by dropping their entire roster, leaving fans puzzled. HisWattson further fueled rumors by removing any association with FURIA from his social media accounts, hinting at a potential return either with a new team or as an active player rather than a content creator. The Apex Legends community eagerly anticipated HisWattson's return, with many unsigned teams appearing as potential destinations.
Putting all doubts to rest, FURIA has now announced that HisWattson will be joining forces with Already There, a team comprising - Ryan “ImMadness” Schlieve, “Keon” Berghout, and coach Jamison “Jmxo” Moore. HisWattson, who had previously captained FURIA's roster, achieved international fame with notable accomplishments, including securing a spot in the 2022 Championship and a second-place finish in the Match Point Finals.
Despite HisWattson's initial success, FURIA faced challenges in the following year, leading to HisWattson's decision to retire due to burnout and a diminishing sense of enjoyment in competitive Apex. However, he remained active in the community, organizing tournaments and staying connected with the casual battle royale scene.
Already There, HisWattson's new team, earned their spot in the NA Pro League for Year Four based on their impressive results in the previous competitive year. Notably, they secured their place without participating in the Preseason Qualifiers, ensuring their presence in Split One of the Pro League.
The announcement comes after an inadvertent leak on the official ALGS Battlefy Website, which revealed FURIA's roster changes. The Gromps, the former FURIA roster, now competes independently, while Already There has taken FURIA's spot.
HisWattson's return as the team captain for FURIA adds a significant twist to the ALGS offseason. With the ongoing Preseason qualifiers showcasing mixed results for teams experimenting with the newest legend, Conduit, HisWattson and FURIA could once again shape the meta for the entire ALGS, proving their influence on the competitive landscape. The Apex Legends community eagerly awaits the dynamic return of HisWattson and his collaboration with Already There in the upcoming ALGS season.
