Blind Esports emerged victorious in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023, securing their first official title of the year. The team's stellar performance throughout the tournament showcased a level of consistency that had eluded them earlier in the season, culminating in a well-deserved ₹40 lakh prize.
Blind Esports’ Path to Victory in BMPS 2023
Despite finishing second in the league stages, Blind Esports underwent a transformative surge on the second day of the finals, catapulting them to the top spot. Holding their ground with unwavering determination, they dominated the third day, concluding the event with an impressive total of 249 points from 18 matches. The spotlight shone brightly on Spower, Blind Esports' star athlete, who earned the coveted MVP title for his exceptional contributions.
While Blind Esports claimed the championship, Gladiator Esports showcased exceptional skills throughout the competition, securing the second position with a total of 221 points. Starting the finals on a modest note, they demonstrated remarkable consistency, climbing from sixth position on the first day to secure their runner-up status by the tournament's end.
Insane Esports, dominating the league stage, clinched the third spot with a total of 176 points. Despite a humble start at fifth position on day 1, they displayed significant improvement, ultimately securing their place on the podium on the third and final day. Insane Aadi's prowess earned him the title of the best IGL of the tournament.
The BMPS Finals witnessed unexpected shifts in positions, with Entity Gaming, initially holding the top spot, settling for fourth place in the overall standings. Meanwhile, defending champions Team Soul rebounded impressively after two challenging days, claiming fifth place with a total of 158 points, including two chicken dinners and an outstanding 98 points on day 3.

8BitXCS claimed the sixth position, while Glitch Reborn emerged as the tournament's most notable underdog, finishing seventh. Numen Gaming concluded their campaign in the ninth position, while Team XSpark and Team Psyche faced challenges, landing in 11th and 16th positions, respectively.
