Global Esports Games 2023, organized by the Global Esports Federation, was an offline Dota 2 tournament that commenced on 11th December. A total of 8 teams, representing eight nations, participated in the Dota 2 tournament in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was an open event, where teams fought in single-elimination with all matches played in best of 3 series. Kazakhstan outshined all other nations as they clinched the victory with a great performance in the tournament. Let's move to the recap of the Grand Final actions
The Grand Final Recap
It was Kazakhstan vs Malaysia in the Grand Final, Kazakhstan made it a 2-1 victory and clinched their victory. Here is the match recap:
Game 1: Kazakhstan’s draft this time included Pugna, Primal Beast, Lycan, Hoodwink, and Faceless Void. Malaysia picked Grimstroke, Luna, Rubick, Pangolier and Mars. The game went on for 36 minutes and 18 seconds with Kazakhstan clinching the win.
Game 2: The draft of Kazakhstan this time included Nature’s Prophet, Vengeful Spirit, Muerta, Earth Spirit and Tidehunter. Malaysia picked Pugna, Kunkka, Gyrocoptor, Medusa and Storm Spirit. Malaysia made it a win after 47 minutes and 50 seconds.
Game 3: It was the final game of the Grand Final, the draft of the teams looked like this. Kazakhstan picked Pugna, Nature’s Prophet, Night Stalker, Templar Assassin and Keeper of the Light. Malaysia picked Beastmaster, Gyrocptor, Spirit Breaker, Huskar and Troll Warlord. After 45 minutes and 22 seconds of gameplay, Kazakhstan made it a victory.
