After receiving criticism from the majority of Fortnite fans, Epic Games decided to lower the price of the Rocket Racing Fortnite cosmetics in the Item Shop. Since Fortnite Season OG offered just the right amount of innovation and nostalgia, many players were sad to see it end. But soon after the release of Chapter 5 Season 1, Fortnite got three big game modes. Since these additions will be permanent to Fortnite, they will be equally complex as Creative and Battle Royale. Additionally, they will be updated frequently with fresh content.

Three days later, Epic Games was able to incorporate three distinct game genres: survival, racing, and rhythm, thanks to Fortnite's addition of LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival. Players get LEGO styles for their preferred skins when playing the LEGO game mode. Music tracks, instrument cosmetics, and the Opening Night Pass were introduced by the Fortnite Festival. Additionally, it gave Fortnite access to automobile skins, decals, and cosmetic bundles.

With the release of Fortnite's Rocket Racing game mode, three car cosmetic bundles were added to the Item Shop. Many fans were happy with these bundles. Although when they discovered their true price, they were unhappy. The Diesel bundle cost 4,000 V-Bucks, while the Cyclone and Jaeger 619 bundles cost 2,500 V-Bucks each. 

When the Fortnite community learned about these prices, a lot of them became furious. On 14th December, Epic Games declared that the prices would be adjusted. Fans who purchased the bundles prior to the pricing adjustment will receive a reimbursement. So customers who purchased the Diesel pack will get 1500 V-Bucks, while customers who bought the Cyclone or Jaeger 619 bundles will get 1000 V-Bucks.

For Diesel bundle, the price goes down from 4,000 to 2,500 V-Bucks.
For the Jager 619 bundle, the price goes down from 2500 to 1500 V- Bucks.
For the cyclone bundle, the price went down from 2500 to 1500 V- Bucks.

Along with the launch of Fortnite Festival, the game developer also added music selections to the Item Shop, allowing users to buy their favourite songs and use them in the brand-new Guitar Hero-style game mode. The cost of the music track items is another issue that a lot of gamers have with them. The price of each music track is 500 V-Bucks, or roughly $5. If players keep voicing their opinions. they might be able to get these songs for less money, just like they did with the car cosmetic bundles.
