Pokemon GO revealed Winter Holiday Part 2, an event which will feature Shiny Vanillite's debut along with Psyduck and Golduck dressed festively. With just a few weeks left in the year, Pokemon GO is still adding new content for the users.
Pokemon GO this week revealed the first part of the Winter Holiday event, which begins next week. A number of winter-themed Pokemon, such as Alolan Sandshrew, Spheal, and Cryogonal, will be displayed to players. The primary new feature is the introduction of Cetoddle and Cetitan in Pokemon GO. Niantic has confirmed the second part of Pokemon GO, which is one of the final events for 2023.
Shiny Vanillite will make her debut in Pokemon GO Winter Holiday Part 2. Psyduck and Golduck will also appear dressed in winter costumes. The event will start on 25th December at 10 am local time and will end on 31st December at 8pm. Alolan Vulpix, Seel, Swinub, Snorunt, Spheal, Galarian Darumaka, Vanillite, Cryogonal, Cetoddle, Sneasel, Piloswine, and Amaura are the creatures that will be encountered in the wild. In the wild, trainers can also discover Christmas-themed versions of Pikachu, Delibird, Cubchoo, Eevee, and Psyduck. The event promised one-star raids by Dewgong, Alolan Vulpix, Crabrawler, Cetoddle, and Pikachu dressed for the holidays. In the meantime, Lapras, Delibird, and Glaceon will be decked up for the holidays in Pokemon GO's three-star raids.
Winter Holiday Part 2 allows players to hatch festive variants of Galarian Darumaka, Amaura, Smoochum, Psyduck, and Eeevee from 2km eggs. The possibility to encounter Alolan Vulpix, Shellder, Jynx, Lapras, Snover, Vanillite, Crabrawler, and Psyduck, Stantler, Glaceon, Spheal, and Pikachu dressed for Christmas awaits players who complete Pokemon GO Field Research missions.
Mega Energy for Mega Abomasnow and Mega Glalie will be another award for finishing the Field Research assignments. Trainers will receive double XP and stardust for opening gifts during Winter Holiday Part 2. Additionally, they will also receive new stickers, avatar items, Timed Research, where they can choose between double XP and stardust for catching Pokemon, and Partner Research for Amazon subscribers. Similar to Winter Holiday Part 1, Part 2 features two paid tickets that come with two candy rewards, Premium Battle Passes, and encounters with Pokemon that are winter-themed.
