Santa Monica Studio has announced the first significant expansion for Kratos' most recent adventure, God of War Ragnarok Valhalla DLC. Luckily, the DLC is free and allows players to take control of the powerful God in a variety of entertaining but difficult ways.

One thing that players may find confusing is that they won't be able to play the game right away after installing the most recent God of War Ragnarok Valhalla DLC update. This is because players must download the most recent expansion separately. Hovering over this game on your home screen will reveal an icon because there is no download link within the game itself. To begin the download, move the cursor over to it and select the "Valhalla" button.

Players should wait to start God of War Ragnarok Valhalla until the DLC has finished downloading. To proceed, just select "Valhalla" from the main menu and watch the notification that appears. Players are advised to finish the game before proceeding because this part contains plot spoilers.

When the game loads into the Valhalla section, The Valhalla DLC will begin. After a short while the new game mode will start. Here Kratos will be put in a unique set of trials that will  test him unlike anything else. The players will also get to play with three weapons in God of War Ragnarok Valhalla and one of them contains a spoiler for certain in-game content. Additionally players can start with completed Skill Trees. Players must use all weapons in their basic form as upgrades will not be provided.

Every trip Kratos takes through Valhalla in this rogue-lite mode will be unique and difficult. Luckily, players are free to choose the difficulty level they prefer. In this mode, the harder the task, the bigger are the rewards.
