Seoul, South Korea hosted the Flash Ops Holiday Showdown APAC Finals from 8th to 10th December. It was organised by the well known game developer Blizzard Entertainment. Seoul’s WDG eSports Studio hosted the A-Tier eSports event and top six teams competed in it.

Format

There were two stages in the Flash Ops Holiday Showdown APAC Finals: Group Stage and Playoffs.The Flash Ops Holiday Showdown APAC Finals featured three teams from Korea Knockouts, two teams from Japan Knockouts, and one team from SEA Knockouts.Two groups of three teams each were formed from these six participating teams.

Round-robin format was used for the group stage. Every group match was played in a best-of-three format. Each group's top two teams moved to the playoffs. 

There was a single-elimination bracket for the playoffs. 

The total prize pool for the event was $50,000 USD.

Hamster secured the first position and received $30,000.O2 High School secured the second position and received $10,000. DAF and ISOHAN secured 3rd-4th position and received $3000 each.VESTA CREW and VARREL secured the 5th-6th position and received $2000 each.

The event was streamed live on Overwatch Contenders’ Twitch and YouTube channels.
