PUBG Mobile Esports 2024 Roadmap Explained

Breaking the mold, PUBG Mobile Esports is set to introduce a brand-new spectacle – the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO). Marching to the beat of its own drum, this event is slated to unfold in the vibrant landscapes of Brazil throughout March and April 2024. What's more, a staggering $500,000 USD prize pool adds an extra layer of excitement. Brace yourselves as the PMGO lineup comprises teams from the host region qualifiers, PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) qualifiers, and esteemed PMSL partnership teams.

James Yang, the luminary Senior Director of PUBG Mobile Global Esports, took center stage in a recent press conference to unveil the comprehensive roadmap for the 2024 Season. Brace for impact as the top tier welcomes not only the iconic PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) but also a revamped midseason tournament, set to unfold in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This tournament promises to be the next evolution of the PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI).

Diving deeper into the layers of transformation, the second tier of the 2024 Season witnesses the expansion of PMSL into four additional regions – Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Americas, and Central and South Asia. While Southeast Asia gears up for a triple treat with three PMSL seasons, EMEA consolidates into a single league, and the Americas and Central & South Asia lock in for two pulsating seasons each.
