Faith_bian Verifies That He Won't Leave His Retirement

Faith_bian replied to a fan's question in the comment section regarding whether he is planning to play in the professional scene during the upcoming competitive season or not. As translated by "CN Dota In A Nutshell," Faith_bian replied, "About will I be playing in the pro scene next year? Since I want to continue doing things that I wanted to do more than that, I believe the answer is probably no. My goal in life is to work as a game designer.

Faith_bian revealed that, following a prosperous Dota 2 career, his goal is to become a game designer. On 30th November, Faith_bian formally announced his retirement from competitive Dota 2. It was confirmed by a Weibo post from LGD Gaming, formerly known as PSG.LGD.

During his time with LGD Gaming, he won multiple Tier 1 tournaments, including WePlay AniMajor 2021, OGA Dota PIT Invitational 2021, and Riyadh Masters 2022. He also won The International 2016 with Wings Gaming. He was also placed 5th-6th in The International 2022 and runner-up in The International 2021. 

After his retirement, Faith_bian has remained quiet, although he has made a few appearances. When word of his marriage leaked online, the Dota 2 community took notice. He was also mentioned as a talent for the Berlin Major 2023. The Dota community was surprised when he returned to the Riyadh Masters 2023 as a talent. He was spotted at Tal "Fly" Aizik's wedding recently, demonstrating that even after leaving the professional gaming scene, he remains engaged and active.
