AfreecaTV Valorant League, organized by AfreecaTV, is an offline Valorant tournament that is taking place in Afreeca Colosseum, Seoul, South Korea. It is considered one of the biggest OFF//SEASON tournaments, consisting of 8 invited teams from six different countries. The tournament features a prize pool of $80,000 USD with teams competing across two stages: Group Stages and Playoffs. The tournament has already commenced today, 5th December, with the Group Stage fixtures. The teams that are competing are from South Korea, China, Singapore, United States, Netherlands, Thailand and Vietnam.

Tournament Format
The tournament follows a two-stage format: Group Stage and Playoffs. For the Group Stage, the playing teams are divided in two groups. There will be a two-double elimination format with all matches of best of 3 series. The maps that will be followed are Ascent, Bind, Breeze, Haven, Lotus, Split and Sunset. The top two teams from each group will make it to the Playoffs.
The playoffs are set to begin on the 9th of December following a single elimination bracket with the semifinal fixtures following the Best of 3 match series and the Grand Final with the Best of 5 game series.
Group Draw
As mentioned above, there are two groups of 4 teams each. Group A consists of Sentinels, Paper Rex, FULL SENSE and DRX. Group B consists of Fancy United, Team Liquid, T1, and EDward Gaming.
Current scenario
The Group A fixtures commenced today with the first match between Sentinels and Paper Rex. The match ended in a win for Sentinels as they clinched the victory with a 2-1 score. The match between FULL SENSE and DRX is currently ongoing.
