Video games have had a fantastic year in 2023, with many interesting titles coming out all year long. But sadly, in the gaming industry, every triumph is accompanied by disappointment. Over the last 12 months, there have been plenty of reasons to be disappointed. So let's check out the 5 Most Disappointing Games Of 2023.
5. Atlas Fallen
Atlas Fallen earns the fifth position on our list. Atlas Fallen is a boring game in every way- the gameplay, the world, and the story. Even with an impressive trailer which promised an exciting open world action role playing game ,it was a commercial failure at launch.
4. AEW: Fight Forever
AEW: Fight Forever earns the fourth position on our list.. AEW: Fight Forever tried to imitate games like the N64 classic WWF No Mercy a bit too closely. Besides having a less feature-rich creation suite than WWE 2K, AEW: Fight Forever had overly simple gameplay. This game disappointed the wrestling game fans.
3. Immortals Of Aveum
Immortals Of Aveum comes third on our list. It is a first person shooter game which tried to do something different with the basic formula. As a result this game looked so interesting right away. But alas!. The game had an irritating script and dull unnecessary loot.
2. Wanted: Dead
Wanted: Dead comes second on our list. For gamers who like janky games,Wanted: Dead had the potential to be a fun mashup of third-person shooters like Fortnite and character action games like Ninja Gaiden. But the reality is different. Reviews of some critics mentioned that the game was too difficult, which it was in certain boss battles. The main problem of the game was that the gameplay didn't work at all. The entire experience felt tedious because enemies felt too soft for guns.
1. Redfall
Redfall ranks one on our list. When this game came out it was heavily criticised by both gaming press and general public. Players brought up problems with the game's characters, plot and toxic looter shooter mechanics.
