The fifth day of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023 was nothing short of remarkable. Rising teams fought against veteran teams and made a perfect blend of competition.
At the top of the leaderboard, Team Insane orchestrated a commendable performance, amassing 66 points and clinching two chicken dinners. Following closely, Revenant Esports secured the second spot with 61 points. Notably, Growing Strong claimed the third position, accumulating 55 points, including a formidable 31 finish points.
BMPS 2023 League Stage Week 1 Day 5 Match-Wise Highlights
Here is a matchwise recap of all five matches played on the fifth day of BMPS 2023 League Stage Week 1.
Match 1 - Erangel: Group 8 and 10
In the first match, MidWave Esports showcased brilliance, seizing their maiden chicken dinner with 22 points. Team Galaxy's strategic rotations secured them the second spot with 18 points, while Godlike Esports claimed third place with 14 points, including 8 finish points. Regrettably, Third World Mafia (TWM) faced an early exit, failing to notch up any points.
Match 2 - Miramar: Group 7 and 10
The 7H squad left an indelible mark, dominating with a colossal 26-point chicken dinner. Kratos from 7H emerged as the MVP, boasting 6 solo finishes. Marcos Gaming secured second place with 22 points, and Revenant Esports clinched third with 19 points. Error Esports (EE) and The World Of Battle (TWOB) suffered premature eliminations, each earning a mere 2 points.
Match 3 - Sanhok: Group 8 and 10
LiveCraft Esports stole the spotlight, claiming a substantial 28-point chicken dinner. Jaadu, Omega, and Mafia from LiveCraft dazzled with 4, 3, and 3 finishes, respectively. MidWave Esports maintained momentum in second place with 18 points, while Vintage secured third with 14 points. 7H exhibited exceptional teamwork, accruing 12 points, as APE claimed the fifth spot with 11 points.
Match 4 - Vikendi: Group 8 and 12
BurnX Esports executed a position-based strategy, securing a 20-point chicken dinner. Growing Strong followed closely with 18 points, 10 of which came from finishes. Ostmen Esports claimed fourth place with 16 points, as Aadi emerged as the MVP with 6 solo finishes. The match witnessed early exits for Numen Gaming, HUB, and Global Esports, each earning 3 points.
Match 5 - Erangel: Group 7 and 11
The Hyper squad concluded the day with a triumphant 23-point chicken dinner. 4 Aggressive Man (4AM) secured second place with 19 points, propelled by SpiderJod's MVP performance featuring 7 solo finishes. NON claimed third with 17 points, while Team Insane and GlitchxReborn secured fourth and fifth places, each garnering 12 points. Marcos Gaming and MG bowed out early, earning 2 points each.
