The third day of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023 has left spectators on the edge of their seats. A display of skill and strategy, the league stage witnessed emerging powerhouses like Hydra Esports and Team Together Esports (TTE) asserting their dominance. Meanwhile, the seasoned contenders, Blind Esports and TeamXSpark, showcased resilience, making every match a spectacle.
As the dust settles, Hydra Esports stands tall at the summit, boasting an impressive 108 points and two well-earned chicken dinners. TTE followed closely behind, securing the second spot with 96 points. Blind Esports clinched the third position with 86 points and added two chicken dinners to their tally.
BMPS 2023 League Stage Week 1 Day 3 Match-Wise Highlights
Here is a matchwise recap of all five matches played on the third day of BMPS 2023 League Stage Week 1.
Match 1 - Erangel: Group 3 and 5
TeamXSpark asserted their dominance, clinching their second chicken dinner with a stellar 23 points. Harsh "Spraygod" Malik stole the show, earning the title of Most Valuable Player (MVP) with six finishes. GenxFM and BloodRose displayed commendable performances, notching up 20 points each. Claw and RC secured the third and fourth positions, each garnering 12 points. Unfortunately, Lucknow Giants and Reckoning Esports bowed out early, managing just 1 point each.
Match 2 - Miramar: Group 2 and 3
Hydra Esports delivered a masterclass, claiming a massive chicken dinner with 33 points, including 17 finish points. Sparsh and Duoraop emerged as star performers, each securing seven finishes. Entity claimed the second spot with 17 points, while V9 and Claw orchestrated a comeback, securing 15 points each. Team Soul showcased strategic rotations, earning them 10 crucial points. Road To Glory (RTG), Gujarat Tigers, and ORB faced early eliminations, failing to score any points.
Match 3 - Sanhok: Group 1 and 6
WSB Gaming emerged victorious on the Sanhok battleground, securing the chicken dinner with 22 points. Gladiators Esports closely followed with 20 points. Medal Esports showcased a balanced mix of finish and placement points, accumulating a total of 16 points. TMZ and TTE secured the fourth and fifth positions with 14 and 13 points, respectively. T7S and DOD faced early eliminations, managing only 1 point each.
Match 4 - Vikendi: Group 4 and 5
AutoBotz tasted their first chicken dinner of BMPS 2023, amassing 28 points, including 13 finish points. Rico from AutoBotz claimed the MVP title with six solo finishes. GenxFM secured the second spot with 21 points, and Hindustan Gaming made a comeback, earning 17 points. Team Titan staged a comeback, grabbing 11 points. Unfortunately, Seal, FS, and ASG faced early eliminations without scoring any points.
