Team Soul, a prominent team in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), is facing an unexpected hurdle in the ongoing Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023. The team, renowned for its consistency and past victories, is now without one of its key players, Sohail “Hector” Shaikh.

Hector’s Contribution For Team SouL in BGMI Tournaments

Hector, recognized for his support plays, played a crucial role in Team Soul's journey through the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 qualifying rounds. Despite his efforts, the team fell short of entering the Grand Finals. However, Team Soul kicked off the BMPS 2023 event impressively, dominating the Blue Group matches on Day 1 with commendable performances in both encounters.

In a recent live stream, Team SouL’s Aman “Aman” Jain disclosed the reason behind Hector's absence from BMPS 2023, stating, “Hector will miss BMPS 2023 due to his exams. He has given priority to exams and will be missing just one event and will be back after his exams are over.”

Hector, known for his consistency, has been a pivotal player not only for Team Soul but also among all BGMI athletes. His absence leaves Team Soul with a challenge, competing in BMPS 2023 with only four players and no backup options.

The current roster includes the following players:
Sahil “Omega” Jakhar
Akshat “Akshat” Goel
Harsh “Goblin” Paudwal
Naman “Neyo”

With three entry fraggers in the four-man roster, Team Soul faces the task of crafting a strategic approach to navigate the BMPS 2023 without their key player. The absence of Hector adds an element of unpredictability to the team's dynamics.
