The Skyesports Championship 5.0 BGMI LAN event was poised to be a grand spectacle, with fans eagerly anticipating thrilling matches between their favorite teams. However, the excitement turned into disappointment on the very first day as technical issues forced the event organizers to cancel all the matches scheduled for Day 1. 

Skyesports Championship 5.0 BGMI Day 1 Concluded With No Matches Due To Interruption by Technical Issues 

The day began with high hopes and a large crowd gathered at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium to support their teams. The atmosphere was electric as players took the stage, but it quickly became apparent that something was amiss. Technical difficulties plagued the start of the tournament, with players encountering connectivity issues. 

The first match of the day, which was scheduled to start at 4:00 PM, got off to a rocky start. Players faced continuous technical difficulties, prompting the organizers, Skyesports, to rehost the match multiple times in an attempt to resolve the issues. Despite their best efforts, it became evident that Day 1 of the Skyesports Championship 5.0 BGMI LAN event would not see a single match completed, leading to frustration among both players and spectators. 

The event was designed to feature a total of six maps, with matches scheduled to conclude by 9:00 PM. Unfortunately, this ambitious schedule was derailed by the persistent technical problems, particularly related to internet connectivity. Teams such as Orangutan Gaming and Entity Gaming found themselves disconnected multiple times, ultimately leading to their elimination from the competition due to playzone damage. 

As the technical issues persisted and no immediate solution was found, a sense of disappointment enveloped the crowd, leading many to leave the venue. It was a tough decision, but Skyesports had no choice but to call off the entire first day of the event.

For fans who were watching from home as Loco VIP members, this was a frustrating turn of events. To make amends, Loco announced an extension of VIP memberships for all members until November 10, 2023. Additionally, those who had purchased Loco VIP after November 1, 2023, would also be eligible for this extension.
