During Battlegrounds Mobile India Master Series (BGMS), ringing and cheating allegations caused disqualification of a team from each group. Global Esports’ BGMI coach Mayavi revealed Team WHO and Team Spy were under the question. Both teams were declared innocent after an intense two-day investigation involving 25 people. However, in the other group, Vinsmoke's team couldn't prove their innocence, leading to their disqualification.
Mayavi Expresses Satisfaction With Nodwin Gaming Decision Regarding BGMS Season 2 Hacking and Ringing Allegations
Mayavi stated that, during NODWIN Gaming's BGMI Master Series, there were some issues with one team from each group being dequeued due to allegations of ringing and cheating. Mayavi mentioned that in their group, there was a team called Team WHO, which was Saggy's team, and the ringing allegation was directed at Team Spy. The teams that did not qualify took it upon themselves to investigate the matter. They collected suspicious clips related to ringing and submitted them to NODWIN Gaming.
Mayavi further explained that NODWIN Gaming thoroughly considered these clips during the investigation process. The investigation lasted for two days and involved meetings with 25 people. After careful evaluation, the final decision was that neither Saggy's team nor Team Spy was found guilty of cheating. Additionally, there was no valid proof against Team Spy regarding the ringing allegations.
Mayavi explained that in the other group, a player called Vinsmoke faced cheating allegations but could not provide evidence to prove their innocence. As a result, the team was dequeued from the tournament. The impact of this incident on other teams was significant, as it disrupted the game for many participants. To address the situation, a rematch of the affected match was conducted.
