In a shocking turn of events, Indian esports organization Lethal Esports has come under scrutiny for allegations of bootcamp problems, mismanagement, and a salary scam. Former player Agneya "Marzil" Koushik, during a 24-hour charity livestream, shed light on his personal experiences with the organization, sharing disturbing details that have caught the attention of the regional Valorant community.

Marzil on Lethal Esports’ Bootcamp

Bootcamp issues seem to have plagued Lethal Esports, as Marzil revealed that the provided bootcamp lacked reliable internet connections. Despite being located in Pune, where the best available option is Tata Play Fiber, the team had to rely on local providers that frequently experienced connectivity issues. With only one connection working at a time and no backup options, the team faced latency and packet loss problems, hindering their practice and performance. Furthermore, Marzil expressed dissatisfaction with the owner's behavior, as he treated the bootcamp as his personal retreat, frequently indulging in drinking and smoking, setting a negative example for other team members.

Marzil Alleges Lethal Esports of Mismanagement

The mismanagement allegations against Lethal Esports revolve around the ineptitude of the team's managers. Marzil recounted incidents where the managers made questionable decisions that impacted the players' well-being. One such incident involved denying a player permission to practice from home to take care of his mother, resulting in his departure from the team. Marzil also highlighted a situation where a newly signed player fell sick, and the management failed to provide adequate support, leaving the team to take him to the hospital themselves. The bootcamp's unhygienic state, with alcohol bottles and food remnants scattered around, further added to the players' discomfort.

Marzil Alleges Lethal Esports’ Manager of Money Scam

In addition to the bootcamp and mismanagement issues, a salary scam allegation has tarnished Lethal Esports' reputation. Marzil accused the new manager, Harshal, of deceiving content creators signed by the organization. Allegedly, Harshal promised high salaries to the creators, obtained the funds from the owner, but failed to pay the creators, pocketing the money himself and blaming others for the discrepancies. Eventually, Harshal was exposed and fired from Lethal Esports.

It is important to note that these accusations are based on Marzil's personal experiences and should be considered as anecdotal references rather than definitive truths. AFK Gaming has reached out to Lethal Esports for their response to these allegations, and their statements will be added to the article upon receiving them.
