New Survivor: Gabriel Soma

Accompanying The Singularity is Gabriel Soma, a Survivor destined to escape the clutches of the Entity and the nightmarish world of Dead by Daylight. Gabriel comes equipped with three unique perks. Troubleshooter grants players the ability to locate the Generator with the most progress when being chased by the Killer, while Made for This offers increased speed and endurance when injured. Scavenger empowers Gabriel with the ability to rummage through an opened chest, guaranteeing a basic Toolbox.

Perk Balances and Killer Tweaks

Patch 7.0.0 also addresses perk balances and introduces tweaks to several Killers. Genetic Limits now inflicts the Exhausted status effect on Survivors for a specific duration after they finish healing. Forced Hesitation hinders other Survivors' movement speed when a Survivor is put into the dying state. Machine Learning compromises a generator until completion, granting the Killer temporary undetectability and increased speed.

The Trickster, The Nemesis, and The Ghost Face receive adjustments to their powers and perks, enhancing their gameplay and making them more formidable opponents. Players will also notice updates to existing perks like Pop Goes the Weasel, Déjà Vu, and Flashbang, offering new mechanics and improved effects.

Improved User Experience

To enhance the player experience, the patch introduces a search bar feature in the loadout and customization screens. This allows players to easily filter and find specific items, add-ons, offerings, perks, cosmetics, outfits, and charms, making customization and selection more convenient than ever before.
