In a groundbreaking move, FlyQuest, renowned for its presence in the North American League of Legends pro team, has ventured into new esports titles by signing rosters in both Counter-Strike (CS:GO) and VALORANT. The organization has recently completed the acquisition of the Counter-Strike and VALORANT teams previously associated with CLG Red, introducing the FlyQuest RED banner for these talented players to represent. Stephanie "missharvey" Harvey, former player and longstanding director of CLG Red, will continue her pivotal role as the director with FlyQuest.

FlyQuest Signs CLG Red Rosters

The opportunity arose for FlyQuest to step in when the women's CS:GO and VALORANT rosters were left without an organization after NRG acquired the CLG organization and its LCS slot. Although NRG secured the entire League division, the Red brand, which has been a cornerstone of women's esports, along with its esteemed CS:GO and VALORANT players, required a supportive organization to continue their journey.

Despite the upheaval, the CLG Red VALORANT roster exhibited their resilience by successfully qualifying for the VCT Game Changers North America Series One tournament. During their main event run, they received temporary support from Ludwig, a popular YouTube personality, and the Moist Moguls organization. However, the possibility of a long-term acquisition remained uncertain, as Ludwig candidly acknowledged the financial constraints of his organization.

FlyQuest's decision to expand into CS:GO and VALORANT comes on the heels of their impressive third-place finish in the LCS Spring 2023 split. Alongside Liquid and Evil Geniuses, FlyQuest is among the exclusive trio of LCS teams fielding teams in the highly competitive NA Challengers League this year. The status of the LCS Summer 2023 split is currently uncertain due to the potential player walkout, adding an air of anticipation to the esports scene.

Looking ahead, the CS:GO roster is gearing up for the commencement of the ESL Impact League third season, starting tomorrow. On the other hand, the VALORANT roster has its sights set on the upcoming NA Game Changers open qualifiers scheduled for July.

FlyQuest's entry into the CS:GO and VALORANT scenes signifies their commitment to broadening their esports endeavors while fostering a supportive environment for talented women's teams. With the acquisition of CLG Red's rosters, FlyQuest is poised to make a substantial impact on these highly competitive esports arenas, leaving fans and competitors alike eager to witness their journey unfold.
