Orangutan X Valorant Roster
The roster shuffle comes as Orangutan X seeks to make its mark in the highly competitive VCT 2023. Following an intense selection process, Emi, a former CS:GO player with experience in Valorant, has joined the team. Hailing from Australia, Emi has played for notable organizations such as The Who?, A$AP, and McTeam before finding her breakthrough opportunity with Orangutan X.
Meanwhile, Erumaa, hailing from Indonesia, brings a wealth of experience to the team. Having competed for teams like Ortus and the renowned BIGG SCYTHE, Erumaa achieved a commendable fourth-place finish in the previous Game Changers APAC Open 1. Now, as part of an international lineup, Erumaa will need to adapt to new dynamics and strategies.
Completing the trio of new additions is Twirly, who previously played for Bren Esports Victress. With seven months of experience under her belt, Twirly has tasted victory in regional female Valorant tournaments and participated in the VCT 2022: Game Changers APAC Elite. In the recent Game Changers APAC Open 1, Twirly represented a team called GO Cyrene and secured a respectable 7th-8th place, despite a defeat against Global Esports Phoenix.
As Orangutan X ventures into the VCT 2023: Game Changers APAC Open 2, the team now possesses an extended six-player lineup. This begs the question of how they will strategically manage their roster. Will they rotate players to ensure optimal performance, or will they primarily rely on a fixed starting five, calling upon the sixth player as needed? It will be intriguing to observe their approach and see how their expanded lineup contributes to their competitive edge.
The complete Orangutan X team now comprises Neha "CaspeR" Sottany, Jefferlynne "Japips" Hernandez, Anrionel "Twirly" Cajanding, Emily "Emi" Lauw, Elmarian "Erumaa" Haessel, Chloe "Chloettw" Wong Ting Ting, with Asad "GuNNeR" Azam as the Coach and Jaden "Saber" Bryant as the Assistant Coach.
With these exciting additions, Orangutan X aims to leave a lasting impression in the VCT 2023: Game Changers APAC Open 2. As they face fierce competition from other talented teams across the region, the revamped roster sets the stage for intense battles and showcases the team's dedication to achieving greatness in the evolving world of female Valorant.
