Popular Southeast Asian Dota 2 organization Bleed Esports has signed Rasmus "MISERY" Filipsen as its new coach ahead of the Southeast Asia (SEA) DPC 2023 Tour 3: Division I. The team announced this news on Twitter, and it is hoping that MISERY will bring positive changes to its performances. The decision was made after the organization released Lee "Forev" Sang-don, who was with the team for five months.
Bleed Esports Replaces Forev with MISERY as Dota 2 Coach
MISERY is a prominent veteran in the Dota 2 esports scene, who has previously played for teams such as Digital Chaos and Evil Geniuses. Notably, he finished as the runner-up at The International 2016 with Digital Chaos. The Danish coach has since transitioned to a coaching role, where he helped Team Secret win the OGA Dota PIT Minor 2019 and finish in the top eight of TI9.
MISERY's recent experience includes coaching TSM at The International (TI11), but he has kept a low profile in the past few months. It is surprising to see MISERY joining Bleed Esports in a region he has never played in before, but his expertise and experience are sure to be valuable assets to the team.
The addition of MISERY to Bleed Esports is expected to improve the team's performance, especially after their poor showing in the DPC 2023. In Tours 1 and 3, the team narrowly avoided relegation, finishing sixth in Division I. Despite revamping its roster to include veterans like Daryl "iceiceice" Koh and Djardel "DJ" Mampusti before Tour 2, the results did not improve.
Bleed's current roster includes the following players:

Bleed Esports is hoping that MISERY's coaching will help the team find the right drafts and playstyle to empower themselves. The team's first test with MISERY as their coach will be against Execration in the first series of the DPC SEA 2023 Tour 3: Division I, which starts on May 15th.
