Animesh "Thug" Agarwal, co-owner of S8UL Esports, recently shared his thoughts on the future of Team SouL's Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) players if the game fails to return to India. As BGMI has been unavailable in the country for the past nine months, Thug provided insights into what the future could hold for the players in case the game fails to receive a clean chit from the Indian government.

Thug Suggests Diversification for Team SouL's BGMI Players if Game Does Not Return

In a recent livestream, one of Thug’s viewers asked Thug about the future of Team SouL in case the BGMI fails to make a comeback in the country. Responding to this, Thug stated that if the game does not return, the players would have to diversify, perhaps by taking up New State Mobile and content creation, or something similar. Thug provided a straight response, without beating around the bush.

Thug further talked about the problems BGMI's absence had created for streamers and explained how all professionals impacted by the game were putting in efforts to thrive. "We (S8UL Esports) are regular streamers. Of 30 members, 20 stream and create content regularly, but it only works if everyone puts in the hard work," Thug explained. He also talked about how the creators from the BGMI community need to do something to find a solution, but they do not do it.

Unfortunately, the return of BGMI is still uncertain, and all the players and fans are relying on mere hope. Neither Krafton nor the government of India has made any comment about the potential return of the game. It will be interesting to see how long players and fans cling onto hope before saying goodbye to the game in case it does not return.
