Global Esports, the only Indian Valorant franchise league team, has pulled off a stunning victory against one of the most dominant teams in the VCT Pacific League 2023 - Gen.G Esports. In an incredible display of skill and strategy, Global Esports secured a perfect 2-0 victory over its rivals. The team won both maps with identical scoreline of 13-8, surprising fans and players alike.
Global Esports’ victory against Gen.G came as a surprise to many, as Gen.G had been exhibiting a level of dominance throughout the tournament that few thought could be challenged. However, Global Esports was up for the challenge, executing their strategies with precision and maintaining a solid defense that left its opponents struggling to keep up.
One player who stood out for Global Esports was the Indian star player Ganesh "SkRossi" Gangadhar, who put on a masterclass performance as the Jett. His incredible K/D/A ratio of 47/29/6 and overall ACS of 315 in two matches were crucial to the team's victory and left fans in awe of his skill.

In the first map Pearl, Global Esports started on the defensive side. Gen.G had a great start in the map as it managed to secure seven rounds in the first half, leading to a scoreline of Gen.G 7-5 GE. However, the tables turned in the second half as Global Esports made a surprising comeback. Global Esports won eight rounds in the second half, while only losing one, securing a comfortable victory with a scoreline of GE 13-8 Gen.G.
Map No. 2 Pearl - Gen.G’s pick
In the second map Lotus, Global Esports started off with the confidence retained from the previous map, and won seven rounds with its well-executed attacks and solid defense, leading to a scoreline of GE 7-5 Gen.G. Global Esports did not fall short in the second half as well. The team went on to win five more rounds, while losing only three, leading to a scoreline of GE 13-8 Gen.G.

Global Esports has secured their second win in the regular season, having beaten Talon Esports in the fourth week. Although they are currently ranked eighth in the overall points table, the team will feel very confident after this impressive win. It is now looking forward to the upcoming super week and its remaining two matches against DetonatioN FM and Rex Regum Qeon. It will be exciting to see if Global Esports manages to secure a position in the top six.
