The popular mobile app Pokémon Home has been updated to version 2.1.1 by The Pokémon Company. This is a little patch that improves certain features added in the Pokémon Home 2.1.0 release from early February, but it also adds one noteworthy feature that strengthens the app's connections to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
The ability to examine Ranked Battle data from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet as well as Pokémon Sword and Shield via the Battle Data feature is the standout improvement from the most recent Pokémon Home update. Most users are still considerably more interested in the app's ability to move animals from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet to Pokémon Home than they are in the app's support for Game Freak's most recent Switch RPGs. The following significant update, which Nintendo previously stated is coming in a few weeks, is anticipated to include that feature that was desired by the community.
On March 2, the iOS App Store received the Pokémon Home 2.1.1 update. The Android version debuted on the same day, but as of March 3, it appears to still be spreading out globally based on country-specific Play Store listings.
Nintendo recently announced that Pokémon Home would include creature transfers from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, although the company only provided an "early 2023" delivery date. The imprecise timeframe, which was made worse by the fact that it was only recently made public—in "early 2023," as it is—during a Pokémon Presents event on February 27, irritated a vociferous group of Pokémon aficionados.
