This might be the first step in Riot's wider plan to develop an engaging open-world game with robust multiplayer features and a distinctive plot. 

Riot Games has successfully released two of the most well-known games in very different genres. The creator has extensive knowledge of MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) games and has made significant progress in the FPS (first-person shooter) genre. The developer may blend the two experiences to develop a brand-new game for the MMOFPS genre.
