Marvel's Midnight Suns were recently published to generally favorable reviews, however, it lacks one quality-of-life element that is now included in many contemporary games. Since its release, Midnight Suns has received mainly favorable reviews and has been hailed by many as yet another excellent game from XCOM creator Firaxis. Some people, though, aren't quite as taken with the game as others.
Despite the game's mostly positive reviews, some players have questioned Midnight Suns' character models, while others have objected to the dialogue and plot. Others have continued to criticize Midnight Suns for lacking some elements that enhance the quality of life, most notably the inability to interrupt cutscenes.
Future Midnight Suns updates will add new content to the game in addition to possibly adding quality-of-life features. Four new characters—Deadpool, Morbius, Storm, and Venom—are available to players of Midnight Suns through the game's season pass. The Midnight Suns DLC characters are expected to be released throughout 2023, though specific release dates are not yet known.

It's unknown whether more substantial story DLC independent of the new characters will be offered to Midnight Suns players. Fans can continue playing through Midnight Suns' story, interacting with characters at the Abbey, and perfecting the game's tactical combat system while they wait for more information on the game's future.
