Zombs has been a member of the Sentinels' bench since April 2022, when the North American powerhouses made the decision to make changes after having a difficult start to the year by bringing in Eric 'Kanpeki' Xu from Akrew. All 10 of the VCT Americas partner teams have already released their 2023 rosters, including Sentinels, who added Gustavo 'Sacy' Rossi, Bryan 'pANcada' Luna, and Rory 'dephh' Jackson while bringing back Hunter 'SicK' Mims as their sixth player. It has been suggested that zombies might transfer to a Challengers team.

The 24-year-old announced in a Livestream on November 24 that while he was considering forming a team, he has opted to quit competing because he doesn't see himself leaving Sentinels. He claimed, "I was screaming for about a week. "The group I was assembling had some promise, and we attracted the notice of certain potential organizations. But after visiting Los Angeles and speaking with the SEN owner, I changed my mind and now I never want to leave SEN. I'm not leaving SEN ever.

He had been on SEN since it first started, back when they had almost no followers. He won't be competing again. He no longer finds it worthwhile. Future-oriented opportunities are available to me.

After leaving Overwatch in 2019, zombies joined Sentinels as an Apex Legends player. Over the following 12 months, he won approximately $60,000 in prizes in the battle royale game before switching to Valorant after the game's launch. He achieved further success as a member of Sentinels' Valorant squad, which dominated the North American scene in 2020 and also took first place in the VCT 2021 Stage 2 Masters Reykjavik.

He stated, "Playing pro video games isn’t what everyone thinks it is". He also said that One must understand how tough it is to have a whole team of five people working together in unison. Like one in a million, really. Every team constantly faces too many issues. Most of the time, you don't even get paid enough to make it worthwhile to work long hours.
