Several Poké freebies will be available to you in the next months (and years! ), as Mystery Gifts for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are coming back. To provide fans with special prizes, The Pokémon Company and Nintendo will provide a variety of special distributions for the games. 

It's actually very simple if you've never used a Mystery Gift in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Players must first choose "Poke Portal" from the main menu before choosing "Mystery Gift" on the following screen. When you choose "Get via Internet," the game will start looking for Mystery Gifts and the "Flying Tera Type Pikachu Gift" option will become available. Pikachu will be sent to the gamer and show up in one of their Pokemon boxes when they select the gift. Even for those who have never done it in past games, the entire process is really simple! 

Airborne Tera-type Pikachu's artwork pays homage to a well-known promo card that was first distributed in the Pokemon TCG back in 1997. Pikachu would again fly on balloons in the opening sequences of Pokemon Yellow a year later and Pokemon Snap in 1999. 

 Flying Pikachu has made numerous other cards and appearances over the years. The design was most notably used in Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu! for Nintendo Switch, where Pikachu may employ the Sky Dash Secret Technique. The Pokemon Company has continued to include Flying Pikachu in the series over the years, and this new Tera Type is only the most recent example of this practice. 

In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, how do you redeem the Mystery Gift codes? 

Simply follow these steps to redeem these codes: 

• Activate the main menu in Pokémon Scarlet or Violet. 

• Choose "Poké Portal" and then "Mystery Gift" 

• To get your free gift, click 'Get with Code/Password' and enter the code.
