Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 brings a new era for the series as it begins Season 1 of Modern Warfare 2. The title brings various fronts over its predecessor. This is evident in advanced movement mechanisms, aquatic combat, vehicle warfare, and more. While all these important aspects have improved, the Buy Stations in the game have also got a significant overhaul.
The looting system of Warzone 2 is different from the prequel. In order to obtain one’s weapons, one should buy them from the said Buy Stations. They are expensive and users can buy individual guns customized within the modern Gunsmith 2.0 system. While on one hand, few fans have criticized the system, on the other hand, most of the fans are excited about the change.
Warzone 2 is not simple at all like the previous iteration. The upcoming title is an important step forward for the series as the developers have already declared that the mode will be more challenging and skill-based. Buy Station 2.0 is a step taken in that direction.
One really needs to manage the in-game economy in a proper manner. Now the main emphasis is on collecting cash via various methods available in the game.
These Buy Stations will be spread throughout AI Mazrah and are not limited to the Battle Royale mode. Payers can access them in DMZ mode too. The following is everything a player can procure from the Buy Stations in Warzone 2:
Gears
Gas masks, killstreaks, armor, and more are available gear and this is the same old Buy Station content. Each Shop’s supply of available items is finite and will gradually run out. Each Shop will also consist of a different list of available items.
Weapons
As said earlier, there won’t be any option to buy entire load-outs, only customized weapons from a pre-made loadout. This will be expensive and most of the players can only buy one gun at a time.
Teammate Buy Back (BR Only)
Same as the previous title, the players can purchase their teammates again after their elimination, including their allies who have lost in the new Gulag.
Sell (DMZ Only)
The selling feature is exclusive to DMZ and will let users sell Gold Bars, Hard drives, equipment, and more, that gamers looted in the Exclusion Zone. All the items in one’s backpack can be sold for cash.
The developers have also ensured a totally new shopping experience for its players amid the Battle Royale mode.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 1, along with the DMZ mode, will be released on November 16 which is today itself for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
