The auto-initiated trainer battles in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are being eliminated, so you won't have to sneak past individuals you don't feel like fighting. Prior to their November release, the forthcoming Pokemon games are being previewed, and our own Sam Loveridge is unsure if there will be enough new content to have an impact. However, one change we notice in our gameplay preview of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is that trainers no longer have sightlines that automatically commence battles, so you can simply stroll past any trainer battle you don't want to bother with. Loveridge views that as a positive change.
By stressing player choice, the optional trainer battles contribute to highlighting the open-world design of the new Pokemon games. Players might be unhappy by how the new trainer battles affect specific types of runs, such as the Nuzlocke way of playing Pokemon games, as forced trainer battles have been a staple of the series since the original Pokemon games were released. This also implies that upon entering a new location, gamers won't have to go through endless trainer fights.
The setting for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will be the brand-new Paldea area, which is modeled after Europe's the Iberian Peninsula. The new games are the first open-world Pokemon games, allowing players to travel anywhere in the world at their leisure. The Terastal phenomenon, a brand-new battle tactic that crystallizes Pokemon and increases their attack power in relation to a particular attack type, will also be featured in the games. Some Pokemon will have alternate kinds, which opens up a world of possibilities in combat. The majority of Pokemon will have a "Tera Type" that corresponds to one of their two Pokemon types.
