Players of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta now have access to more maps and game modes than they did during the game's initial beta weekend, according to Infinity Ward. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's first beta weekend took place a week ago and was only available to PlayStation users. Fans of Call of Duty on the PC and Xbox may now enjoy the second beta weekend. Infinity Ward has seized the chance to provide a more thorough overview of what will be featured in Modern Warfare 2.
The beta test for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's first weekend was shockingly brief. Team Deathmatch, Domination, Prisoner Rescue, Knockout on Farm 18, and Mercado las Armas were the only playlists and maps that were initially available, along with Breenbergh Hotel. Two more playlists, Search & Destroy and 3rd Person POV, had been added before the end of the weekend. For the first weekend of the beta, no new maps were added.
Players may now choose from seven playlists and six different maps to begin the second beta weekend of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, but there is a catch. The new game modes include 3rd Person Moshpit, Invasion, and Ground War, which each have two teams of 20 people and 20 AI on a Ground War map. Ground War is Call of Duty's 32v32 variant with vehicles. Sariff Bay and Sa'id are the two brand-new maps. These two new maps are for Ground War, which is the catch. This suggests that the majority of the content provided for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta week two is for Ground War or Ground War-related gameplay. There is still all the same 6v6 Multiplayer content accessible for fans of Call of Duty who aren't interested in huge matches with dozens of players.
Additionally, it's always possible that Infinity Ward will continue to add material throughout the weekend. Infinity Ward extended the beta's daily offerings over the first weekend. There hasn't been any new content introduced to the beta yet since week two started, but that could change when the open beta kicks off on Saturday. This weekend is significant for Call of Duty players. The buildup to each Call of Duty release each year is at its peak during the beta. The appeal of having so many people playing at once makes it unique, even though many of those playing this weekend probably already know whether they're going to purchase Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Unlocking additional stuff improves it even further.
