A Minecraft Reddit user has been accumulating experience points in a furnace for nearly a year.

An XP farm was built up and left running for a whole year by a Minecraft user to see how many experiences points they could generate. The user of Reddit with the username 

Destroying the Ender Dragon is one of the finest methods to gain a lot of XP in Minecraft. The boss mob's entire XP, however, is dwarfed by JustinTimeCuber's total XP from 226 levels of farming over the course of a year. The Redditor's furnace XP farm included cacti, bamboo, and a furnace. Due to its ease of cultivation and collection, cactus is a particularly common material for smelting farms. Because of the same factors, bamboo is a fantastic fuel source. 

The user claims that up until they remove something from the furnace, it remembers everything they have melted. Because of this, it is able to "accrue the XP from smelting about 200,000 cactus with a comparable 800,000 bamboo." To begin at level 0, JustinTimeCuber killed themself, letting the world into their wonderful farm. They then experienced an eight-second XP boost, and their level bar quickly increased. Even though it took a while to reach the 226 levels of XP, the wait was definitely worth it. 

There are other additional ways to gain experience points in Minecraft, such as farming, fishing, killing every mob you see, and engaging in as much trade as you can with the villagers. XP farms provide quite a bit of XP over time as opposed to an abrupt, huge rush. They do not supply a lot of XP rapidly. Reddit users react when a player of Minecraft gains an incredible number of experience points from an XP farm in a single year.
