After four games vanished from the service during the program's launch in Europe today, PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers in the Americas now have a little smaller selection of games to pick from. There are a few PS4 and PS5 games that have been deleted from the PlayStation Plus Extra list, but no classic games seem to have been dropped from the service.
Four games on PS Plus Extra and Premium are lost.
Four PS4/PS5 games are on the list of PS Plus Premium and Extra games that are missing. All should still be a part of the service, per the list of games on the Playstation Store website. On a PS4 or PS5 console, though, they no longer display any availability through PS Plus Extra or Premium. The following games are currently unavailable:
Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles
428: Shibuya Scramble
Evil Genius 2 (PS5 and PS4)
Y School Heroes: Bustlin’ School life
In the case of Y School Heroes: Bustlin' School life, there isn't even a single trace of the game on the PlayStation Store, as Sony made no announcement that the games will be taken off the service. It is important to note, however, that the US list has also been revised numerous times since its initial release (our list, which was published an hour after the service began, differs significantly from the current list), and it is entirely possible that Y School Heroes: Bustlin' School life was not initially included in PS Plus in the Americas.
On a related point, the list of titles available on the console and the website do not match up exactly. For example, Mahjong Tales: Ancient Wisdom and THE LAST BLADE 2 are available for streaming as PS3 classics, but they are not included among the PS Plus classics on the website.
In other developments, the PS5's speed will reportedly allow Final Fantasy XVI gameplay to "flow at a rapid pace." DICE has stated in other places that they are currently only concentrating on Battlefield 2042 and have no intentions for anything else.
