After 6 Years of Playing, a Pokemon GO User Finally Reached Level 40

After 6 years of playing, a gamer of Niantic Inc.'s popular mobile game Pokemon GO recently revealed that they had reached level 40. Although there are reasons why the level cap should be increased, the Pokemon GO community nevertheless celebrates when a player reaches level 40. 

The level system was restricted to 40 levels from the time the mobile game was created in 2016 until 2020. The achievement of reaching level 40 in the game is still notable even if the current cap is level 50. Many players in Pokemon GO are unsure of how to start levelling up, making it a tedious process. But after six years of playing, one person finally reached level 40 and posted about it online. 

The 6-year completion time suggests that Nightcrawleronreddit, a Reddit member, has been playing Pokemon GO continuously since the game's release on mobile app stores. Nightcrawleronreddit expressed their joy by thanking their friends for "knocking back poke balls." One player who has been playing from the game's first day is still stuck at level 39, as they offered their congratulations and their own levels on the Reddit thread. Others said that because to goods like candies and Rare Candy XLs that can help level up Pokemon, it was much simpler to level up now than it was when the game originally launched.
