The best sixteen teams from around the world gathered in Istanbul, Turkey for Valorant Champions 2022, the climax of this year's Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) competitions, to compete for the title of "Champions" and the majority of the prize money. Valorous Champions 2022 began on September 2 and is expected to end on September 18. 

Teams from Korea (KR), Japan (JP), Brazil (BR), East Asia (EA), Asia Pacific (APAC), North America (NA), Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and Latin America participated in the competition (LATAM). On September 8th, the tournament's group stage is scheduled to come to an end, with eight teams moving on to the playoff bracket. 

Riot Games released the bracket for the following round after confirming that the first four teams will be participating in the playoffs. Here is all the information you need to know about the 2022 Valorant Champions playoffs. 

A guide to the 2022 Valorous Champions Playoffs 

The last competition of the competitive season, Valorous Champions, determines a single winner for the entire world. Starting on September 9 for the playoffs, a live crowd will be present at the location for this offline LAN tournament. The Volkswagen Arena in Istanbul will host fans who want to support their favourite teams during the postseason. 

There will be eight participating teams. By winning the Winners' matches, four teams advance to the postseason; the other four compete in the lower bracket championship games. There will also be a double-elimination format in the playoffs. As the competition goes on, teams will be seeded into the upper bracket (four quarter-finals), while the losers will eventually drop to the lower bracket. Each game is best-of-three (BO3). The Grand Final and Lower Bracket Final matches are best-of-five games (BO5)

In the Valorant Champions 2022 group stage, OpTic, DRX, XSET, and DRX emerged as the top from their respective groups. In the meantime, Team Liquid and LOUD triumphed in their respective group's championship games. 

Schedule 

All of the times listed in the tables are in CET and are movable. The schedule will be updated if a team wins and moves on to the next round in the upper bracket or loses and falls to the lower bracket.
