One of the well-known brands when it comes to gaming and PC peripherals is Logitech. And now, the new version of the G502, which the manufacturer claims are the most well-liked gaming mouse in the world, has been released by Logitech as the G502 X line of gaming mice.  

For enhanced responsiveness and a more precise 25,600 dpi "Hero 25K" sensor, the three versions of the mice—G502 X, G502 X Lightspeed, and G502 X Plus—now have hybrid optical-mechanical buttons. 

The mice have the brand's new "Lightforce" hybrid optical-mechanical switches, which are intended to take advantage of optical technology's speed while simultaneously providing the satisfying click of a conventional mouse button. According to Logitech, the optical switch wears less and lasts longer than a purely mechanical one. Since there is no requirement for physical contact to activate the mouse buttons, optical switches result in quicker button actuation and longer-lasting reliability. 

The wired base G502 X is the lightest of the series, weighing in at only 89 grams. The G502 X Lightspeed and G502 X Plus both boast 68 per cent quicker connectivity than the G502 Lightspeed before them, but only the G502 X Plus has the company's Lightsync RGB function, which adjusts to games. It includes special lighting effects when it powers on or off in addition to when it is in use. It also aims to conserve battery life by shutting off when not in use. They will be sold in both black and white and will be generally lighter in weight. The price ranges from $79.99 for the base G502 X model to $139.99 for the Lightspeed variant and $159.99 for the Plus model. 

The DPI change button, which is now removable and reversible to cater for varied hand grips, was one of the mouse's other components that Logitech modified. Along with having both infinite and ratchet scrolling options, the scroll wheel has been redesigned to be more stable and feel lighter. A Hero 25K DPI sensor, which offers 1-to-1 accuracy at sub-micron levels, is also included with the new mice. Furthermore, as per Logitech, the sensor is not subjected to acceleration, smoothing, or filtering.
